Mersey Bank Apartments Helps Drive Success at the 22nd Annual Prostate Cancer Charity Golf Day

The 22nd Annual Prostate Cancer Charity Golf Day, held on Sunday, October 27, at Devonport Country Club was a resounding success!

With perfect weather, 132 golfers participated in the 4-person Ambrose competition. The day was full of great fun and friendly competition.

A huge thank you to our major sponsor, Mersey Bank Apartments, and to Extractas Bioscience, who have supported the event for the past 14 years. We also appreciate the contributions from Elders Real Estate, Synectic Accountants & Advisers, James Roberts Thomson, and the KenLyn Foundation, whose support was key in making this event a success.

The fundraising efforts were outstanding, raising over $8,000, with $1,000 coming from the raffle. We’re still finalising some sponsorship contributions, but the support from the community has been incredible.

For those interested in next year’s event, mark your calendars for Sunday, October 26, 2025. It promises to be another great day of golf and support for a worthy cause. Thank you to all the players, sponsors, and volunteers who made this year’s event such a success!
