Fundraising Success
With 19 raffle prizes, 1 auction item, and generous support from attendees and sponsors, we’ve raised over $8,000, with some sponsor contributions still to come in.
Special thanks to Linley Watson from the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) and her husband Mike, who joined us on the day, helped with prize setup and ticket sales, and shared an insightful talk on prostate cancer awareness. Linley also sourced some Dick Johnson Racing gear including a winter jacket that fetched $300 at auction, thanks to Leigh Murphy’s smooth auctioneering skills.
Thank You!
To everyone who played, donated, sponsored, and volunteered, thank you for making this event such a success. A special shout-out to:
Kristy Richardson & Kelly Hicks – early birds at registration
Russell Brownlie & Kristy – drinks cart dynamos
Mark Nugent – chief scorecard marshal
Ian MacLeod – photography ace
Of course, a huge thanks to our generous sponsors, especially Mersey Bank Apartments (our major sponsor), and long-term supporter Extractas Bioscience, alongside Elders Real Estate, Synectic Accountants, James Roberts Thomson, KenLyn Foundation, Oldaker Street Dental, and Stihl Shop Devonport.
📅 Save the date for 2026! Mark your calendars now for next year’s event: Sunday, October 25, 2026. We’d love to see you on the green again.
