​Each year, around 20 students from Grades 9 and 10 are selected for our programme due to challenges in classroom engagement.

 

Our initiative focuses on fostering meaningful relationships between students and volunteers, creating a supportive environment that encourages academic and personal growth.

 

Rotarians and volunteers act as mentors, participating in activities proposed by the students and funded as needed, to enhance student motivation and involvement.

 

Last year our students raised over $2,500 by providing BBQ foods at athletic carnivals and helping out at the Motor Show.

Rotary contributes funds to help meet the cost of activities.

 

Plans includes set building for the school production, a games pit (built over 2 years), day activities like bike rides, kayaking, golf and a 2 night camping trip.
