Prostate Cancer Charity Golf Day

The Prostate Cancer Charity has been operating continuously since 2003. The event is a 4 person ambrose and usually attracts a full field of 36 teams of 4 (144 players). This event is open to all golfers, you don't need an official handicap to participate. Those without a handicap will be allocated one on the day.

In the past we have had AFL foot ballers take part and in 2013, professional golfer Jarrod Lyle was our special guest. Jarrod sadly lost his battle with leukaemia in 2018.

We have had strong support from the business community over the years. Our major sponsor Merseybank Apartments is in its 4 year as major sponsor. We also have significant contributions from Extractas Bipscience, Elders Real Estate, Synectic Financial Planning and Stihl Shop Devonport.

This event raises crucial funds for Prostate Cancer research and support. In our 23 years we have contributed over $167,000 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

The 2026 Golf Day is on Sunday October 25 at The Devonport Country Club, cost is $160 per team of 4.
